Pet friendly accommodation – bring your best friend

The Hideaway offers pet friendly accommodation. Dog owners are welcome to bring your best friend knowing there is plenty of paddock space for off-leash exercise that is safe as well as being filled with interesting outdoor smells to investigate.

Facilities at The Hideaway of Rotorua include our 21 spacious and comfortable rooms. We have a range of bed configurations to suit couples, families and groups, with modern bathrooms and well-appointed kitchenettes for self-catering.

Plenty of outdoor space and amenities for you to enjoy

The Hideaway Rotorua is set in 4 acres of park-like grounds that is well suited to families as well as guests who enjoy relaxing outdoors or walking in the gardens. There is a huge children’s playground and plenty of places to explore or simply sit and while away the time with a good book and a cuppa.

Extensive gardens and places for picnics and barbecues

Guests are welcome to use our outdoor barbecue and picnic facilities to make enjoying your stay here a large part of your holiday experience. There are plenty of lovely gardens and plantings where you can find somewhere peaceful to sit and chat or curl up with a good book.

Extra parking and storage available

For guests with a trailer or boat, or if you are travelling by camper and looking for a breather from being on the road, we have space available to park up while you stretch out in one of our spacious rooms. We can also accommodate horse floats and have fenced paddocks for the horses too.

If you are here for the mountain biking or other sporting events, there are lockable storage facilities to keep your gear safe.
